This poster presents an automated method aimed at improving the management of animals in large-scale facilities for pharmacokinetic (PK) studies involving large animals. Traditional management methods, which require significant labor, are often susceptible to errors. The Electronic Cage Card (ECC), a tool we designed in-house to interface with the Animal Resource Management System (RMS), provides real-time and accurate updates on animal location, status, and more. Holding patent numbers ZL202321100313.5 and ZL202330268499.4 in China, the ECC is currently employed at the DMPK Service Department of WuXi AppTec, markedly enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of animal management.
