Over the past decade, extensive studies have been conducted on the metabolism of oligonucleotide drugs, especially the most abundant metabolite in liver. Those metabolites may have the similar molecular after deaminated or oxidation, which could affect the quantitation of GalNAc-siRNA conjugates when using liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
