Posters Overview
Monosaccharides are endogenous components widely present in biologicalmatrices. They are often applied as biomarkers to indicate disease occurrence. The separation and determination of D-(-)-fructose from its isomers such as glucose and galactose is a great challenge as they have the same molecular composition, similar structures. Moreover, all of these isomers exhibit poor chromatography retention due to their high hydrophilicity. In this study, a validated, rapid, and reproducible LC-MS/MS method was developed for the quantitative determination of D-(-)-fructose in a pharmacokinetics study.
